Krystal Rider is a dedicated leader committed to positively impacting the Omaha community. With extensive expertise in project management, strategic planning, and operations, Krystal has led numerous initiatives to create a more equitable and empowered Omaha.

As a former Code School Director and Technology Library Director, Krystal has been at the forefront of educational and technological advancement. Her work in these roles has consistently highlighted her dedication to community engagement and unwavering commitment to tech equity.

In her new role as President of the Omaha Data Science Academy, Krystal aims to achieve the following goals:

• • Create Pathways for Data Scientists: Develop comprehensive training programs to help individuals train, upskill, and thrive as data scientists.
  • Foster Employer Relationships: Build strong partnerships with employers to promote tech equity and secure job placements for graduates.
  • Manage Funding and Grants: Effectively manage complex funding sources and excel in grant management to support and sustain impactful programs.

Krystal’s unique blend of expertise and passion makes her the ideal leader for the Omaha Data Science Academy. Her vision and strategic approach will drive the academy toward tremendous success and community impact.

Originally from California, Krystal is a mother of four amazing children and a wife to Allen. She enjoys gardening and finds balance through meditation.
